come join davina + daniel for an intimate, one-day intensive workshop.

composition: a show and tell of how we use our surroundings to create unique imagery.
marketing & pricing: where and how much money should you spend? there’s no right or wrong answer, but we’ll gladly share what has worked for us, and how you can get the clients you want!
posing: candid, posed, natural light, no light, my light, close-ups, silhouettes. we’ll cover it ALL!

dinner at the studio

shooting: after dinner, we will head out for a live shoot with a real couple. we suggest you bring your cameras for this one!
post-production: following the shoot, we will come back to our studio, and show you our entire workflow, which allows us to edit entire wedding in less than a day. we will also show you how important finishing your images is, and how to bring out the very best in every picture.

the workshop will take place at our new studio/office space, downtown Montreal. if you will be coming from out of town and need some help with accommodations, let us know!

wednesday august 18th 2010. we will be starting at noon. we plan on ending the evening with drinks, so no official end time!

the workshop fee is $700 +tx . we’ll be providing beverage, snacks, and dinner. you can register via paypal below or call us if you’d like to book your spot by credit card. we are limiting the workshop to only 15 people, so hurry hurry!

We’ve had some inquiries for photography classes and after some thought and planning, we’ve decided to start offering different courses, for different levels. First up, “photo 101″ for beginners. We know there are many of you out there with DSLRs who don’t really know how to get the most out of your camera, so this is what our classes will teach you!

We’re offering gift certificates right away (just in time for the holidays, hint hint!) but the classes will be starting in July 2010. During this 5hr class, we will be covering everything from how to properly use a camera, to editing the images in photoshop. You can view more details and reserve your spot/purchase a gift certificate by clicking HERE. Classes will be limited to 10 people and the cost is $200 +tx.

Hope to see you at one of our classes!

  • Jenn S.: I hope you guys are planning on doing a more advanced class too. I'd would totally want to be a part of that! (11.26.2009 10:25pm)
  • kathleen: I wish I lived up near y'all! I would love to take this course. I don't yet have my own DSLR (I borrow Dad's for occasions and big trips) but lord knows I could certainly use it better! (11.27.2009 01:22pm)
  • davina + daniel: Jenn: it is something we'll be offering soon. Stay tuned! Kathleen: we travel! ;) (11.27.2009 03:39pm)
  • A: Jamie wants in! (11.29.2009 06:09pm)
